Title: Opening the Gates to Hell
Day/Theme:
Characters: Original characters.
Rating/Warnings : PG 675 words.
A/N: My chibi muses are vacationing somewhere warm, I guess. I figured delve into creating my own characters and story. But I don’t know where this is going yet. Just attempting to see if I can complete the entire Marlowe daily theme and build an original story.

Trayne stared at the folder handed to him by a well dressed Chinese executive. This short man poked his shoulder to wake him up. Trayne stretched both his arms in the air as he bent his upper body to his left and then to his right. He yawned and shook his head, trying to fight the sleepiness he was still feeling. He took the folder in front of him, his eyes barely focused. He checked his shirt pocket for his glasses only to remember he didn’t have it. He opened the leather bound folder, picked up the sheet of paper closer where he can read it. He looked at the stranger, who was now sitting at the same spot where his father sat hours earlier and then looked at the list before him once again.
“It says here I am leaving for
The petit man just looked at him equally without emotion. “I am Ed Chen. I am your father’s corporate confidante. I will be working with you for now. Your butler will be meeting you in
“Four others? Where are these hotels located?” Trayne inquired. “I need more information. This list does not tell me anything but a schedule.” Trayne rudely stated while shaking the white sheet of paper in front Chen’s face.
“
“I will select my own people and I will provide you a list in a day or so.” Trayne informed Chen. Chen eyed him for a moment before turning to leave without a word.
Trayne watched Chen close the door behind him. He could not believe his life changing before him in a matter of hours. The more he was getting angry about the situation. He never allowed his emotions affect him but this day’s events unleashed all the anger he managed to control all his life, as if opening the gates of hell and letting the wrath take over without end.
He stood up and walked out to the balcony, catching the warm breeze. He closed his eyes and let the warmth take over. He needed to calm down and rethink his moves. He 's now a power player like his father, he could no longer think small nor with kindness. As much as he hated to acknowledge he's got more of his father’s traits in him, he knew this new challenge thrown on his lap gave him some kind of high. His life will be a living hell but it’s his hell to control.
