“Tell me something about yourself.”
“What do you want to know?” Trayne replied.
“You’re answering my question with a question Trayne. I didn’t mean to make it sound like I’m nosing around.” the petite man replied.
“I apologize truly, I didn’t mean to...” Trayne’s breath hitched at the sight of
“Mean to what? You are just a mystery man and yet my mother seemed to have a very strong opinion about you.” Leon gazed at him coyly, noticing how he caught the Englishman by surprise. “Have you met my mother?”
“Yes
His mind replayed yesterday’s interlude with Leon while Trayne watched Chen gesturing and pointing at reports spread out over the conference table but his mind was somewhere else. He kept an expressionless stare at the senior executive, just like the rest of his staff was doing but he was not fully listening to what he was saying.
“Trayne!” Chen screamed and that pulled him out of his daydream, “Was this a waste of my time?”
Trayne stared at the petite executive coldly, “Quite an insolence on your part assume such thing. I have reviewed your figures and the report your group put together. I do not think the amount you are offering for the buy out is a fair amount. If you wish to claim more insults from the hotel board do so offer it at that price. I am not approving this offer.
“Your father will have the final say, and as his trusted advisor I will make the decision." Chen stated crassly.
“Be my guest and present your argument to him.” Trayne sternly eyed the executive before him before walking out of the room with James tailing from behind. Both gentlemen headed to Trayne’s hotel suite.
“He has the audacity to insult me.” Trayne stated angrily, “I am dining out with

“I’ll see you later then.” Trayne lay on his bed and stared at the intricate carved patterns on the ceiling. He closed his eyes and once again losing his thoughts on a memory imprinted in the back of his mind. The kiss they shared from yesterday. The very first time he felt

They had dinner at the boardwalk, avoiding his grandmother’s café this time for fear of another inquisition. The café he selected had an open area on the boardwalk and they sat at the very end corner closest to the water. The early evening shadows had taken over the horizon as the sun slowly set at the end of the ocean.
After dinner they walked back to their favorite spot. They sat next to each other, enjoying the warm balmy breeze from the ocean. The evening fun fare was centered close to the boardwalk where most of the entertainment and outdoor bands were starting to play. They listened to the soft jazz music playing while they silently enjoyed each other’s presence.
Trayne’s warm hands found his as they continued to enjoy the music.
He watched Trayne memorize every part of his face, his other hand touching his cheek, brushing the strands of hair from his eyes. Trayne smiled and soon
Leon was first to let go, he needed to breathe. He stared at Trayne’s eyes, it was burning with longing for him. He was on fire himself and could feel the heat on his cheeks, his ears. The knot inside his lower abdomen was tight and he was embarrassingly aroused. He turned to face the darkness before him, hoping Trayne didn’t notice his body’s reaction.
“I…I think we should head back to the hotel.”
Trayne gazed at him for a moment, combing his hand through his dark brown hair. “It would probably be the best thing to do.” He responded back.
Leon watched as the Englishman stand. Trayne turned away from him and straightened himself. Leon bit his lower lip and smiled a little, realizing Trayne was experiencing the same reaction from their kiss.
“Are you ready?” Trayne turned and asked.
“Yes.”
They walked in silence, both men unsure how to start a conversation after sharing a passionate moment. Both men, smiling in the dark, relishing the moment they both shared but unsure of how the other was thinking. Trayne however confidently reached for
“I had a wonderful time this evening. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” Trayne responded, “I enjoyed your company, as well. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome, don’t mention it.”
They both smiled at one another and caught each other’s gaze unexpectedly. They chuckled realizing how boyishly they were at that very moment.

“Okay, I should be ready by
The whirlwind he’s caught in was overwhelming and confusing.
