Yamamoto watched the silver haired teen draw out mini explosives in an attempt to stop Lambo and I-Pin from wildly scurrying around the 10th’s house. He wondered why Gokudera constantly bothered to try stopping the two hyperactive chibis, the Vongola’s left hand man knew such effort as a waste of time. He sighed heavily at the chaotic mess in the dining room. He stared at the brown bag he picked up from his father’s store. He was confident the contents of the bag would help out the right hand man in his quest to stop the mayhem.
Yamamoto stood at the entrance way and waved the bag of treats playfully and announced, “Onigiri anyone?”
The two chibis automatically halted, glanced at the lithe swordsman before eyeing the brown bag with sparkly eyes.
“Onigiri! Onigiri!” A scream of excitement resonated in the room as the two excited toddlers dashed towards Yamamoto.
Gokudera grunted, masking his relief. Yamamoto smiled in return. He knew the right hand man was too proud to admit his helplessness in this situation.
“Gokudera, you were suppose to keep an eye on these two not kill them!” he teased.
Green eyes glared while the silver haired teen pocketed the mini dynamites away, “There’s only one way to keep these two from destroying Judaime’s house,” he replied grudgingly.
“But you would have destroyed Tsuna’s house instead,” Yamamoto mused, “and that wouldn’t please your 10th.”
Gokudera’s eyes shot widely upon realizing the end result of what he earlier conceived as a well thought plan. His shoulders stooped, his head flopped forward as he fell on his knees in remorse.
“I failed him again,” he cried.
There was no point to argue any further.
