Title: Tensai’s Foolish Heart Part 3

A/N: Tezuka and Fuji are Tokyo University students and share an apartment together. A snapshot of their life together, sharing moments to make memories.

The traffic was much lighter as Tezuka took his time to drive back to the university dorm. He glances at Fuji as he slowly brakes before a red light. He notices the distance between them, with Fuji leaning against the passenger window and his eyes focused away from him. He reaches for his hand to hold on to for the rest of the ride. While keeping his eyes on the road he senses Fuji’s momentary glance. Tezuka presses his hand gently and moves it towards his lips to kiss.

“ I love you Syusuke.” He states without reserve.

“I am sorry Kunimitsu, I am such a fool!” Fuji replies with remorse in his voice.

The university dorm was at the next turn but he chose not to go home. Instead, he heads towards the park where he takes Fuji for evening strolls by the waterway. The parking lot was almost secluded and finds an empty space underneath a lit lamppost. He left the ignition running to keep the air conditioning and radio on. Releasing his seatbelt, he pulls Fuji to an embrace and kisses him hungrily in his mouth. His cheeks, wet with tears flowing from Fuji’s closed eyes. Tezuka was first to let go, panting to catch his breathe. Fuji, equally breathless from the intense kiss, wipes the wetness on Tezuka’s cheeks. He smiles at him as he leans to rest his head on Tezuka's chest.
