Today’s chaotic mess in the Seishun home didn’t involve Grandpa Tezuka, well not at the very start at least, until his beloved became interested with the turn of events and simply wanted to have fun. Unbeknownst to the stoic head of household, Grandma Fuji carefully plotted her painful participation, in support of Shuoko. This very morning, Shuoko found proof of her husband’s cheating activities and showed it to Grandma Fuji.

“Your son seems to have plenty of time on his hands and has decided on some extra-curricular activities outside work and home,” Grandma Fuji declared, “you should talk to Sadahara-kun about it and tell him to resolve the problem he created.”

Grandpa Tezuka didn’t know exactly what brought about Grandma Fuji’s prickly statement about his son, who had been working to save money for a family vacation. He knew this for a fact since Sadaharu spoke to him of his intended plan of action. Using percentile probabilities, his son explained his plans to surprise his wife in the coming weeks. Of course, the old man simply sat and stared at Sadaharu-kun, while Grandpa Tezuka imagined working on his beloved Marilyn.

“Leave the children to resolve their own problems,” Grandpa Tezuka stated, while he tended to his beloved mini tree. He could probably calm his upset Fuji if Tezuka could remember his son’s plans. He should have listened to Sadaharu rather than obsessively thinking about the beautiful bonsai before him.

“But Tezuka-kun, Shuoko is so distraught after discovering what Sadaharu has been doing,” Grandma Fuji explained.

“Oh Marilyn,” Grandpa Tezuka whispered.

The jovial smile on Fuji’s pretty face disappeared. Icy blue eyes focused on Grandpa Tezuka as angry aura heated the area around Grandma Fuji, broom at hand and a flat stone With one swing the flat stone went straight towards the potted plant which Grandpa Tezuka quickly set aside, away from harm’s way. The flat stone landed on Grandpa Tezuka’s head instead and caused a painfully looking lump to suddenly show.

“Sadahara-kun better think of a nice surprise for Shuoko when he returns from work this evening.” Grandma Fuji demanded.

Later in the evening, Momo and Ryoma told their father about the excitement that happened while he was at work. Sadaharu shuddered nervously when he saw the huge lump on his father’s head. He wondered what caused his parents to act strangely.

“Grandma Fuji said you have to give Mama a surprise to make things right!”

Sadaharu had no clue what he did wrong. He noticed Shuoko being sad this morning, but he didn’t think it had something to do with him.

“Mama showed Grandma Fuji the shirt with a kiss mark!” Momo reported, “And Mama was crying too!”

Ryoma remained very quiet while his sister reported to him. He would usually mince words with Momo about the situation, but this time not a word. Sadaharu suddenly realized his son’s wrong-doing, and he heaved a heavy sigh. His wife complained about the kids constantly rummaging through personal items in their room and playing with everything they find. It appears his kids did it again and had caused a grave misunderstanding between him and Shuoko and his parents. They only way he could undo what had been done by surprising Shuoko and Grandma Fuji with a day of shopping.

“I guess its good-bye to planning a vacation, for the moment." Sadaharu sighed. “A day away from the women and kids is better than a week long vacation with the entire family.”

After dinner, Sadaharu gave Shuoko the money he’s been saving and encouraged his happy wife to take Grandma Fuji and the kids to the mall. The children screamed and jumped happily. Grandma Fuji smiled sweetly, too sweet that Sadaharu suspected the old one plotted for this result.
