oOo

A startled gasp was all Fuji could manage when he saw Tezuka and Atobe surrounded by the royal guards ushering them towards the main entrance of the Tiki cutting through the thick crowd of curious spectators.  Fuji was meeting Saeki for dinner before his unexpected order to return to the palace later in the evening.  He didn’t expect to see Tezuka with the actor, so comfortably close, together.  He watched the spectacle pass him without a hint of recognition from the prince, although he did notice the royalty quickly glanced towards his way.

Fuji stood without moving and continued to watch him disappearing into the inner hall of Momoshiro’s establishment.  He  remained unmoving as the crowd slowly thinned away.  He didn’t know what to think or do.  Images of the prince and him from their early-morning encounter played before in mind. He vividly recalled how the pair of royal eyes cast amorously at him and Tezuka's lips that smiled and uttered soft gentle words of love.  The prince he witnessed just now was nothing of that man, he shared his bed with. His lips quivered, slowly forming a defeated smile.

What a fool he had been all this time, thinking he had something special with the Prince.  How could he have not seen this coming?  He knew what kind of person the royalty was all along. Even so, he let passion and emotions rule over his being. This exactly was what he didn’t want in the first place, a one-sided affair.

Fuji sniggered painfully as he turned to escape the crowded scene.  His eyes slowly blurred with tears.  He needed to disappear from all these chaos, he centered himself with.  He blamed no one but his own foolish heart. He had a taste of something wonderful, something that did not belong to him in the first place to take and own.  He needed to escape, run away and wipe away the pain that’s now taking over.  Yet here he was frozen in a spot just a few feet away from the Tiki.

Inside, the man who stole his heart and blinded his mind with passion and promise of love was comfortably sharing space with an equally celebrated Prince.  Atobe no less, the man who had always been commonly seen with Tezuka and gossip magazines featured each time the opportunity of a snapshot graced the glossy pages. How could’ve he missed the obvious?  He never was in detail with the Prince during those encounters that made news in every media known in the Kingdom. Except for that one night when he accompanied Tezuka in the hotel and spent their first night of wild passionate lovemaking. It had been Atobe all along, and he was just filling in the empty spot whenever the actor was not around.

His body marked with Tezuka’s passion and still hurt from their all-night love-making.  Fuji suddenly felt so dirty and had the urge to cleanse his body of all the memories of his touch.  Tears smeared his slightly sun-kissed cheeks.  Without noticing the presence of another person suddenly before him gently wiping away the wetness off his face, Fuji almost jolted.  He stepped back, but Saeki caught him in an embrace.

“There’s no need for tears, love.  I’m here for you.  I’ve always been, only for you,” Saeki assured him.

Fuji choked as he tried to hold back the tears from gushing. He shouldn’t encourage Saeki with his affection, but he needed to be comforted. He needed to feel he existed.  He gazed at Saeki’s warm blue eyes, his silver hair fluttering with the soft evening breeze and the smile affectionately telling him he was not alone.

“Saeki,” Fuji muttered as he tried to pull away from Saeki’s hold.

“Shhh, just let me hold you Syusuke.”  Saeki tightened his embrace, enjoying the warm body of his ex-lover so close to him.  The evil smile hidden away from Fuji’s vision appeared as Saeki noticed the Prince stepping out of the crowded entrance of the Tiki.  Without warning, he gently pressed his lips on Fuji’s mouth and teased Fuji with his tongue just like he had always done in the past. Saeki moaned, enjoying the taste of Fuji. Although Fuji didn’t respond as passionately to his kiss, he didn’t pull away, making Saeki  confident that he would soon have Fuji back on his bed.

Suddenly, a hand yanked Fuji away from Saeki’s passionate assault and startling both men back to the reality.  Fuji stared wide-eyed at the man still holding his arm, painfully tight.  The fury in those brown eyes shot angry dangers straight into his heart, freezing Fuji coldly where he stood in between Saeki and the Prince.

“You surely didn’t take long to find another warm body,” Tezuka coldly scoffed. “I guess it was too presumptuous of me to assume we had something special.”

Fuji stepped back, unable to respond to the royal castigation simply turned to rush away.

“Syusuke wait…” Saeki reached for him before Fuji could distance himself.

“Stay away from me!” Fuji screamed. “Both of you, I don’t want to have any of these from the likes of you two!” The tears angrily appeared without so much of after thought, shamelessly announcing to the world the pain reeling in his heart. How could he even allow himself to feel this much for someone? He glared at Saeki and then at Tezuka. The emotions were too overwhelming and diffused him from saying another word.

With all the energy he could summon, Fuji ran, bolting away from the growing crowd that followed the Prince.  Shame painted over his person. Fuji ran as fast as he could.  Away from the Prince, away from Saeki, but no matter how fast he ran. The voice caught up with him.  Tezuka’s furious words, his angry eyes followed him.

Back outside the Tiki, Saeki glared at the Prince, and Tezuka held his own, shooting back equal darts of anger at the silver-haired man.

“You have no shame Saeki,” the Prince deplored.

“Takes one to know one, your royal ass,” Saeki chided back. “At least I have the comfort to know that you could no longer do anything to hurt my love.”

With that said, Saeki turned and slowly run towards the direction Fuji disappeared to, hoping he would catch up with the hurting man and be the one to comfort him tonight.

Tbh, Junn-chan, I hardly remember what happened in the chaps before. I only know I read them because I left a comment on the chap before this ^_^" I'm so sorry! >_< But please know that I don't even remember what my own stories are about.
Once I read this chapter I remembered a little about this story, but it made me really sad. Poor Fuji doesn't know what to do or think anymore and Saeki is the one chasing him, not Tezuka! You better update sooner this time!!

Ann-chan lols. It's okay...it's been close to four years from the original posting of this series. Don't worry I am actually going to make this my project when I finish this quarter. I have a week of RnR and what better way but use the week writing and updating both LJ and DA with creative stuff.

I know Tezuka is such a cold-hearted prince...makes me wonder if he is happy with the way he treated Fuji just now. Who knows he might have a change of heart or fate will just be too cruel to let these two lovers go astray...
