A/N:  AU- Tezuka and Fuji are Tokyo University students and share an apartment together.  A snapshot of their life together, sharing moments to make memories.

Memory: Fuji’s randomness, Tezuka’s pervertedness, just one of those nights of comical banter.

A quiet evening that was how it all began, Tezuka cleaned out the dishes and made sure the kitchen was spotless before he retreated back to his favorite spot in the living room.  His favorite book laid waiting for him to continue his reading.

Fuji was comfortably lounging on the carpeted floor, legs crossed while seating on an oversized pillow, his laptop, books, art supplies sprawled all over the kotatsu. The artist was just completing his research for a school project and decided to surf the net.  He checked out his favorite anime sites for weekly updates of his favorite shows, checked the news for the latest weather report, and after which searched youtube for interesting amvs. He was in fact doing research, since his current project for media design was to produce a series of video montage for class.

Earlier, he came across an interesting animated music video that entertained him enough, and he wanted to share with it Tezuka.  Fuji hooked his laptop to the flatscreen TV and clicked on the control buttons to transfer the video clip into the wide picture screen.

The honey haired man glanced to check on Tezuka, now engrossed in his reading.  He clicked the play button with the TV volume set close to its maximum level.  The tennis player was suddenly interrupted from his deep concentration.  The music resonated in the room and Fuji at first was humming the tune and then lip sync, mimicking the singing hypo on the screen then imitated the dancing moves of the yellow pooch.

‘In the jungle, the quiet jungle a lion sleeps tonight,’

Tezuka stared at Fuji, his seriousness pasted on his poker face, a little piqued due to the disturbance he simply described as FUJI inside his head.  He was about to read an exciting part of the book and his concentration was now disrupted by the entertainment brought to him by none other than Fuji.

Fuji watched him. He knew Tezuka could possibly be fuming inside his head.  If there was something he knew about his lover, Tezuka loves silence while perusing a good book and judging from the serious man’s peeved stare, he was holding onto a REALLY good book. So he smiled at the stoic man and continued lip singing as if belting out the tune sung by the animated hippo.

‘Hush my darling, don’t fear my darling, the lion sleeps tonight.’

Then the dancing ensued, the honey haired man imitated the dancing moves of the yellow pooch on the screen.

There was no way that Tezuka’s brow could not raise as he watched Fuji’s hip swaying and hand waving movements like some hula dance.  Fuji was increasingly becoming randomly annoying.

“You’re bored,” Tezuka remarked.

‘Near the village, the peaceful village, the lion sleeps tonight.’

Fuji answered him with a continued lip singing, innocently looking at him like the shy hippo. Without hesitation the dancing artist jumped closer towards the seated stoic.Tezuka jolted slightly as Fuji turned, swaying his hips, then patted his derriere exactly the same way the yellow pooch did on the screen.

Tezuka sniggered, not quite expecting the honey-haired man would do such a crazy thing before him. Then again, this was Fuji and he's known to do surprisingly random things on the fly.

The song finally ended and Fuji slid down the sofa, panting heavily due to lack of exercise, though he blamed his currently low stamina.

“What was that?” Tezuka didn’t know exactly what he was asking about or why he was even bothering to inquire.

Fuji glanced at him, quite surprised, then crimped his shoulders, “Don’t know, I guess its just one of those things like another brick in the wall?” he replied fanning himself with hand as beads of sweat trickled down his face.

“Why don’t you go take a shower and cool yourself down,” Tezuka suggested, craving for the momentary silence if Fuji went for a bath, “the sofa’s getting soaked or would this be another one that you would refer to as another brick in the wall?  Tezuka teased.

Fuji gave him a confused look, “What does that mean by the way, another brick in the wall?”

“You're the one using the phrase,” Tezuka's rebuttal.

“You’re the one studying Engineering, you should know,” Fuji teased him, smiling impishly.

Tezuka glinted at him, “Well, if you want to know, after you take your bath we could check it out, you, me, and the wall,” the taller man smugly smiled at him.

The sweaty artist shook his head in disbelief, slowly getting off the sofa and stood before Tezuka with a devious smile, “Kunimitsu, you’re a pervert!”

“Well who could resist such an alluring brick like you?”

“Yah, yah, yah, touché!” Fuji surrendered, “I guess I should’ve seen that coming.”  He walked towards the bathroom with a smile on his face,

‘Well, at least he is getting funnier.’

I just love to imagine these two men could have fun and be silly. I know it sounds like crap and a lot maybe will think of it as a stupid thing and crap writing...but hey what can I do, can't really please everybody and those I manage to make smile, I am happy.
