Title:  Make It Fit Like a Glove!
Day/Theme: January 18, 2008 / Something familiar about the way they fit together.

Rating/Warnings : G -  Yaoi, just in case.     694 words. 
A/N:  AU- Tezuka and Fuji are Tokyo University students and share an apartment together.  A snapshot of their life together, sharing moments to make memories.
Memory: Reason behind Tezuka’s lower back pain as well as his index and middle fingers!

“It was easy enough.  I guess, it didn’t take you long to get used to it and make it fit like a glove.”  Fuji smiled in amazement, enjoying Tezuka in his current state.

“Syusuke?”  Tezuka fighting the urge to roll his eyes, watching Fuji grab the clothes from the floor.  Tezuka tossed his hair as he got off the couch, picking up the pile of papers from the floor and settled everything on the dinner table.  He stretched out his arms like a cat and noticed  the time on the kitchen clock.  “ 8:30 AM  already? I guess we played around too much last night.”  Tezuka thought to himself while looking at the piled stuff on the table.  Illustrations he sketched early in the week and had hoped to complete over the weekend.

“Kunimitsu, you look distressed.  Is something wrong?”  Fuji inquired returning from the bathroom after he had a quick shower and loaded their clothes in the wash.

“I don’t think, we did it right!”  Tezuka stated while reading through the instructions once more.  “It looks like we followed  everything as instructed in the book...damn...!”  Tezuka exclaimed in frustration, rubbing his lower back.  “Syusuke my lower back hurts!”  He declared, stretching his torso from side to side only to wince in pain some more.

Fuji watched Tezuka with grave concern. The taller man furrowed his brow once more after attempting another side twist and Fuji noticed him wince in pain again. “I’ll get the balm, hopefully that should  relieve the pressure.”  Fuji replied walking towards their bedroom.   “How’s your arm?”  Fuji inquired as he continued searching for the cream. “You did exert a bit of pressure on it too?”  Tezuka began exercising his left arm, trying to loosen the tightness and soreness by rotating it around.

“I don’t think it’s that bad, my fingers hurt like crazy though, I gave it quite a workout last night!”  Tezuka frowned as he pressed his fingers on both thumbs, one at a time, feeling more pain when he pressed his index and middle fingers. Fuji re-appeared from their bedroom holding a small bottle of mint cream. He helped Tezuka remove his shirt and instructed the taller man to stand still.

“Kunimitsu, I told you to be careful but you were so determined.  I didn’t think it would take us all night.”  Fuji smiled.  He started applying the balm on Tezuka’s lower back and slowly massaged his spine and applied the cream on his shoulders.

“Mmmm...Syusuke that feels so good.”  Tezuka closed his eyes, exhausted from staying up all night.  “How about you, are you feeling any pain?  You were just as intense in getting it together last night!” Tezuka inquired, enjoying Fuji’s hands massaging his back.

“No... I think I am alright. I enjoyed every moment with you.  You were the one working hard to make it perfect, as expected.”  Fuji teased. “Well what do you think?  Was it worth all the hard work? ”  Fuji gave Tezuka a light pat on his butt and held the taller man in an embrace from behind, feeling his warm body.

“ I never used it before so I was skeptical about the result.  But after reviewing all the designs and the degree calculations, I guess it worked.”  Tezuka turned around and faced Fuji, wrapping his arms around to embrace him back. 

“Who knew Legos would work! Sensei instructed to use it for this project! Thank you for helping build my bridge.”  Tezuka kissed Fuji’s forehead and smiled.  “You never played with these things either when you were young didn’t you?”  He inquired, releasing Fuji from his embrace and reached for his shirt.

“Mostly Magnetix and K’nex.  Never had a liking for Legos, it’s hard to separate those little pieces once they’re stuck together.  That’s why your fingers hurt and your back hurts from seating on the hard floor all night!”  Fuji stated, helping Tezuka with his shirt.  “But, I actually had fun.  We should do this more often!” Fuji’s eyes brightened as he gazed at Tezuka.  “Next time pick a project designing a highway or something! We can use Hotwheels or Monster Trucks and race!

Tezuka shook his head.  He held Fuji close to him in a tight embrace.  “Syusuke, next time we will use the tablet and make digital designs.”

*O~ Tezuka and Fuji plot bunnies were being a tease when I was writing the fic and (hands in air) I yield to their impishness...thus fic ended the way it did. But I, as well as my plot bunnies (Tezuka...most specially Fuji) are pleased to know you liked the fic just the same.
